Frequently Asked Questions

Remodeling your kitchen or bath can make a big impact on the resale value of your home. It only makes sense to buy the best you can afford. Here is a list of questions we are frequently asked. Perhaps they will answer some of yours too.

Where Do I Start?

Take some time to do some research: look through magazines, brochures and kitchen showrooms. See what's new and what appeals to you most. Think about how the room should function. You want to create a space that reflects your lifestyle. Ask yourself:

  • What style do you prefer? Country, Classic, Contemporary?

  • How do you want your room to look and feel?

  • How do you need your room to function?

  • Do you need more counterpace; more storage?

  • What is your traffic pattern?

How Much Will It Cost?

IF YOUR ESTIMATED TOTAL BUDGET IS $10,000, YOU COST PER ITEM WILL BE ABOUT:

Cabinets: 48% or $4800
Labor: 16% or $1600
Countertops: 13% or $1300
Appliances: 8% or $800
Designer: 6% or $600
Fixtures: 4% or $400
Flooring: 4% or $400

You may spend more or less, but remember: A newly remodeled kitchen or bath can make a big impact on the resale value of your home. It makes sense to buy the best quality you can afford.
